Hi, I’m Ryan! I’m an actor, singer, and educator with a deep love for storytelling and helping students discover their unique voice - both literally and artistically. I serve as Birchwood’s Acting Coach and will be taking on students for voice lessons in the near future!

I hold a BA in Theatre Performance from Wagner College and an MFA in Acting from Harvard University/American Repertory Theater. I have also studied Improv at UCB NYC and have since worked across a wide range of performance disciplines, from classical text to contemporary musicals.

In the classroom, I focus on building confident, curious, and connected performers. I’ve taught Acting, Improv, Shakespeare, Script Analysis, and Voice Over, and I love guiding students through both the technical and emotional sides of performance. As a voice teacher, I’m classically trained and currently pursuing Estill Voice EFP certification. I work with students to build healthy, sustainable vocal technique that supports a full range of expression—whether they're belting a show tune or tackling Shakespeare.

Acting takes discipline, but I also think it should be fun. I aim to guide students through a process that builds confidence, sparks creativity, and celebrates the work it takes to grow. I’m so excited to be part of the Birchwood family and can’t wait to work together!
