Music & Storytelling
Genre-spanning vocal work — from soaring ballads to rap to ensemble harmonies — each character has their own distinct musical voice
Deep text work and scene study focused on truthful, grounded performance in an otherworldly setting
Character Development
A transformative journey that asks performers to explore identity, vulnerability, and what it truly means to matter
Opportunities for rich, layered character work as each student makes their case for why their life deserves a second chance
Movement & Ensemble Work
Ensemble-based staging that builds listening skills, focus, and teamwork — this show lives and dies as a collective
Stylized movement and transitions rooted in the carnival/limbo world of the show, requiring strong group awareness and physical commitment

Eligibility: This production is best suited for teen performers who are ready for a serious rehearsal process and emotionally honest storytelling.
Must be available for in person callbacks
Must be available during tech week and show dates: November 8-15
Auditions will be held virtually and are due Friday, September 4 at 4:00pm.
Please prepare a 32-bar cut of a musical theater song in the style of the show

We will also send a short dance/movement combo to learn and submit.
Callbacks will take place in person on the first day of rehearsals, Tuesday, September 8

Tech/Dress Rehearsals: November 8-12 (6-10pm)
Performances: November 13, 14 (7:00pm), 14 (2:30pm), 15 (1:30pm)Please note that excessive conflicts may impact casting.

Our musical theatre program is designed to give kids and teens the tools they need to be successful when going into the rehearsal and performance process of a show with community or professional theater.
With small class sizes for individualized attention and real time work with industry professionals, each class dives into the fundamentals of singing, acting, and dancing, and how to utilize each skill effectively during rehearsals and performances.
